Since October 2003, I have blogged on the political happenings of our country. At that time, I was an ardent supporter of President Bush and the Republican Party. The blog was, at that time, not a blog and has dramatically evolved over time. We have had guest authors and have received some attention. Thousands visited AMP.
Since, I have become disillusioned with President Bush and the Republican Party. I have become a supporter of centrist solutions and candidates - partisanship has driven our country apart and solutions away. I wish the best for our nations political dilemma.
However, I have made the decision to abandon this blog and blogging in general. It is a time consuming process that I no longer wish to make. My priorities must lie elsewhere. It is hard to leave an avocation which has been a part of my life for over three years, but I must. I have also made the decision to remove all prior posts from this website.
I will continue to read and comment throughout the blogosphere, but this site will no longer be a presence. I wish my fellow bloggers the best and hope that America will restore its dignity at home and around the world.
